Public Notice: The Houma-Thibodaux HTMPO Policy Committee is scheduled to meet on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at the Warren J Harang Jr Municipal Auditorium (310 N Canal Blvd, Thibodaux, LA 70301). Agendas and other pertinent information will be posted to the HTMPO’s webpage at least 24-hours in advance. Any person needing reasonable support to be able to attend this meeting should contact Josh Manning at josh@scpdc.org or by phone at (985) 851‐2900 at least five days prior to the meeting date to request auxiliary aids.
The Policy Committee serves as the official decision-making body for the MPO. The Policy Committee oversees how federal transportation dollars are spent in the transportation study area. The Policy Committee’s responsibilities include the review and approval of all plans, programs, and projects. It is comprised of elected officials from region within the MPO’s study area. The Policy Committee will be reviewing and allowing public comment on the Transportation Improvement Program, the Unified Planning Work Program, the Metropolitan Transportation Plan, the Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan and all amendments related to these documents.
