Public Transportation
Urban Transportation Services
- Urban transit in Thibodaux & Terrebonne Parish: Fixed routes, flat fares, no reservations required
- Rural transit: On-demand, scheduled in advance
- Intercity travel by bus and rail: Greyhound service in Thibodaux, Houma, Morgan City, and LaPlace
- Amtrak Sunset Limited stops in Schriever
- Special services: Available for non-emergency medical transport for seniors and people with disabilities
Vanpool
- Best for trips of 15+ miles one-way
- Groups of 5–15 riders with similar destinations and schedule
- Designated drivers rotate among vanpool members
- Monthly costs are shared, including fuel, insurance, and maintenance
- Pre-tax commuter benefits may be available for employers and employees
