Welcome to New isle
New Isle is a growing community in Terrebonne Parish designed to support families impacted by coastal land loss and natural disasters. Originally created as a resettlement project, New Isle is now being developed into a sustainable, culturally rooted neighborhood. Led by the South Central Planning and Development Commission (SCPDC), the project spans over 400 acres and will include homes, businesses, nature trails, and shared community spaces. Our goal is to build a place where resilience, affordability, and quality of life come together
