The SCPDC Loan Department serves small businesses in the South Central Region, and beyond on occasion and when appropriate.  The program has been shuttered for about a year to allow for applications and processing of Restore LA recovery loan applications, but is reopening as of July 1, 2024. 

SCPDC business loans work in conjunction with other traditional financing sources to link small businesses to creative and comprehensive financing solutions, including participation/complementary bank and credit union loans.

Loans are presented at the monthly Loan Board meeting (held on the 3^rd Tuesday of each month) for approval, and all completed applications for each meeting are due by the last day of the preceding month – i.e., completed applications for the 8/20/2024 meeting are due 7/31/2024.  Further instructions and additional required documentation are described when the applicant clicks on the SMALL BUSINESS Loan Application button below and registers as a new user.  A completed application must include the submission of the online application AND all supporting required documentation by the last day of the month to be considered at the following month’s regular Loan Board meeting.
